As he mention in his previous blog, he was born in Japan and grew up in Brazil and Canada, so he had many Kendo experiences all over the world. As I grew up only in Japan, I do not have such kind of opportunities in my life, so everything is very interesting for me.
At the first time, I went to his office, I was so surprised to see this photo.

HE IS SPEAKING with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth!
I asked him ‘ Where did you take that picture?’
He told me that the picture was taken at The 12th Kendo World Championship, which took a place in Glassgow, Scotland. Her Majesty the Queen and the His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, came to attend the opening ceremony and greet the player from the Commonwealth Countries.
MMM…
That sounds nice!!!

Taro Ariga was in the captain of the Canadian Team, and lady beside him was the Captain of the Women’s team .
As all sports do, Kendo represents the PEACE in this picture.
